Let's play a game.
I tell a story.
I leave out a very big part of the details.
And then you can guess the title of the movie.
Good plan?
Here it comes.
This movie is about of a young girl, about 10 or 11 years old. She's poor and she lives with her aunt.
The aunt treats her like trash. At the end of the movie the girl the girl appears to be filthy rich because of the inheritance her parent (or someone else left her.
Beware... the details might not be accurate.
Funny game isn't it?
No?
Okay, I believe you.
It's actually a movie I saw once, when I was a little girl.
I kind of forgot most of the story, and I believe somewhere along the line, I mixed this story up with the one of 'the secret garden'. Why so, I believed the aunt was portrayed by Maggie Smith. Sadly IDMB tells me there is no such movie in her repertoire.
In other words, I still have no clue which movie I'm looking for.
Feel free to help me out if you have a hunch.
That's all for tonight, folks.
Sweet dreams.

Struck by lightning
Who are we?
Would we be the same if we walked on different roads,
if we had made different choices along the way?
We all think about it sometimes, don't we?
Now you ask me, where does this come from? Why go all 'dark side'?
I saw this movie called 'Struck by lightning'.
It's a Chris Colfer-movie and it's about this kid, Carson.
His mom ended up a mess, due to a marriage that went horribly wrong.
And he, he's just doing anything he can to make his dreams come true.
And at the end of the movie...
- sorry, spoilers here (but not really they show it to you at the beginning of the movie) -
... he gets struck by lightning.
(If you want to know what actually happens: watch the movie!)
So I guess the question isn't really 'Do I matter?' but 'Has me being me changed anything?'.
Say I'm gone tomorrow, will I have left my mark? Will I have made a difference?
Is there going to be one person, only one, whose life would be different if I hadn't been alive?
Whit that one to think about, I'm signing out.
xoxo

if we had made different choices along the way?
What if I had told that person what was on my mind back then?
What if I hadn't let that one girl get to me, break me down?
What if he would've given us a chance?
What if I had chosen another major in college?
What if I was a better student?
Would things be different if I had been better at mathematics?
Could I be a better me?
Should I be?
Will I be rewarded when I work hard to bring about my dreams?
Does it even matter at all?
Do I matter?
We all think about it sometimes, don't we?

hourglasses, perverted old people and movies
Hya people,
I've got a crazy week. Working at the local supermarket got me scratched all over my hands and arms. I'm still quite buzy with a bunch of papers that need to be in on Monday... TIK TOCK TICK TOK The sand is falling down in the hourglass and time is running out. So I'm not going to stay long.
Just wanted to tell you a little something...
BEWARE OF LITTLE OLD MEN!!!
I was walking around town with Mia, one of my BFFs and all of sudden this grandfather-person sneaks up behind us and starts saying these perverted things... really nasty.
And this wasn't the first time that man, and other older men, tried that on me.
To all of them STOP FREAKING ME OUT.
Oh, by the way: Wade and Riley... Tuesday at the movies was awesome. 'Black Swan' was really great.
Olive you all!!!
